The Journey of Coram Deo Theology: A Work in Progress

This site began as a side project during my doctoral studies, inspired by an ambitious goal—investigating the concept of unification. I held onto the hope that uniting people and achieving peace on earth was not just a dream but a real possibility, perhaps even within my lifetime.

The seeds of this vision were planted in my childhood. When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I came across a Ziggy comic in the Sunday paper that deeply resonated with me. It wasn’t funny, like most comics; instead, it was simple yet profound. Someone asked Ziggy what he would wish for upon a star, and he answered, “Peace on Earth.” That comic stayed with me for over 20 years, tucked away as a quiet reminder of my hope for the world.

Later, in 6th or 7th grade, I began writing poetry. Looking back, many of those early scribbles centered around unity and peace. This longing for harmony has always been a central theme in my thoughts and aspirations.

When the opportunity arose during my doctoral studies to delve deeper into questions of unity and peace, I seized it. I poured myself into the research, hoping to find answers.

What I discovered, however, was both sobering and enlightening. The conclusions I reached were not always what I had hoped for, but they gave me a clearer understanding of what unity and peace truly require. They also helped me articulate a fundamental truth: the responsibility lies with each of us.

Unity and peace begin within us. Much like good works, they flow naturally from faith. They are not just ideals but actions—choices we make daily.

Through this blog, I’ll share both the challenges and insights from my research. I’ll also explore how faith, good works, and God’s mandate—as it can guide us in contributing to a more unified and peaceful world.

But chaos doesn’t have to define us. Together, we can work toward something brighter.

Join me on this journey through Coram Deo Theology. Let’s explore how we can make the world a little more peaceful, a little more unified, and a little more reflective of God’s love.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read this introduction. I’m excited to walk this path with you!
